World War Z Is Coming | Zombi

Looks like Brad Pitt has been puttin' in work.  With a new found budget hovering around $125 million, the Max Brooks (The Zombie Survival Guidenovel will be directed by Marc Forster (Quantum Of Solace), scripted by J. Michael Straczynski (Thor) and filming should begin in May.

Producers are shooting for a PG-13 rating to get the most bang for the buck and get the teens in for the Summer.

"The Crisis" nearly wiped out humanity.  Brad Pitt will play Brooks, the United Nations Postwar Commission agent who has taken it upon himself to document the "first hand" experiences and testimonies of those lucky to survive 10 years after the fictitious zombie war. The "historical account" format makes room to explore the zombie plague from numerous different views and characters. Straight laced, Brooks exhaustively details zombie incidents from isolated attacks to full-scale military combat: "what if the enemy can't be shocked and awed? Not just won't, but biologically can't!" The "interviews" and personal accounts capture the universal fear of the collapse of society--a living nightmare in which anyone can become a mindless, insatiable predator at a moment's notice.  Like George Romero's Dead anthology, World War Z is another milestone in the zombie mythos.
