Sony's Next Generation Portable Named 'Playstation Vita' | Gaming

Sony's new handheld is called the "PlayStation Vita." It was once code-named the Sony NGP, or "Next Generation Portable," but the company has decided the device will be called "The Vita."

Along with the name, we learned that the Vita's internet provider will be by WiFi or AT&T. Games like 'Ruin' allow for Cloud based saves which will let you seamlessly port your games from the Vita to your PS3.

WiFi version will cost you $250 & 3G $300.
